We have had some brown recluse spiders in our garage - not real comforting with a baby on the way.
Adam did a bunch of research and found the best thing to do if you do have brown recluse (the one on your porch does NOT look like one) is to put down sticky traps like for mice. This is because the pest control sprays usually don't kill BR spiders - but kill everything else. BR spider like to eat dead bugs and spiders and are drawn to your newly dead bugs. Isn't that comforting? We now have sticky traps everywhere.

OMG - That is HUGE. I hate spiders. I screamed when I saw the picture:-)
It is spider season it seems, keep finding them in our basement, many screams coming from this house.
