Flipping Five

It's hard to believe my little girl that didn't walk until 17months is doing flips now. She combined her roundoff backhandspring on floor today for the first time, some serious frog legs, we will have to work on form next.

Manhattan Muckdogs

8 and under boys baseball team coming this spring! Trav, Cory and Darren decided on the name of the team over Turkey Dinner today at Marlatt. My comment was that we better get a pup for Christmas as the team mascot.

Jolly Old Saint Nicholas

Xander was SO excited about going to piano yesterday to get his X-mas songbook to practice up for a little mall performance coming up, we will start to here more than jingle bells!

Girls day out

Monroe and I spent the day in KC watching the older team girls compete in a gymnastics meet, they did such an awesome job, I was close to tears. We stopped at Cheesecake Factory on the way home, the lettuce wraps, WOW, the chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake, AMAZING! Of course Monroe was missing the rest of her family by the time we got home, "It's really sad we are not with Jude, Xander and daddy", had a text from Xander as well asking when we would be home.

Pony to replace Maclaren?

Same day I found out the stroller (recalled) Jude rides in everyday to walk the kids to school has caused finger amputations, Jude and I saw an ad for this pony, what a sweet ride!

Christmas Card Photo SHOOT!

In attempt to get my card order into my little sister Jess early this year, we took advantage of the 75 degree weather and attempted to get some pics of the kids in their christmas getup.

I thought it would be fun to move our black couch in front of our fence, apparently Jude thought a nap was more important, he is totally sleeping here.

Lets see, who is missing, can you find Roe's feet, so appropriate, handstands in a dress, doesn't stop her.

after the fact, realized I had misbuttoned Jude's jacket, quite a good smile tho, with the eye slits.

Dinner Date

We had a dinner date out with friends Saturday night to celebrate Lindsay's 33rd! Sorry hubbbies had to crop you out, you weren't looking at the camera.

God I love this girl. We've only known each other 5 yrs, but I feel like I have known her forever, guess thats what happens when you work the nightshift together. Always a good time when your with this mama of 4!

Homework

For Monroe's homework this week, she brought home a turkey that 1.) had to be cut out and decorated as a family and 2.) it had to be creative.

So here is what we've got, used halloween candy, family pic, paint, tissue paper, beads and google eyes, pretty hideous looking turkey, oh well, she loved it.

Had to share Xander's letter in his journal writing this week addressed to the family, its a hoot.

Probably too small to read, but at the end it says, "I hope Im a good family and all the family is proud of the family"

Tolerant

Sometimes I feel like Ms.Bailey is more tolerant of my two year old than me.

Zeus was pretty tolerant too!
