Reindeer Games

My bloggin has been interrupted by the presence of my 3 sisters (Millers,Schmitts, & Ponds), kids and parents in town. I will hopefully catch up. BTW, if you haven't seen 4 X-mases yet, my sister peed her pants laughing so hard, and then tutored me on a little digi scrapbooking. Pic above of last nights appearance of Rudolph at our Christmas shabang, as you can see the little red heads weren't too keen. Also, penny update turned out to be a dime.

Just a swingin

We had a little swing dance lesson this afternoon, I think by junior prom they should be pretty good. BTW, turn down the volume if you watch the video, dang my voice is loud.

My latest addiction

watching old home videos.

Mall madness

Monroe and friends attended a dance clinic to help raise money for the older girls and then performed the masterpiece at the mall on Saturday to Frosty the Snowman. It was pure craziness! I didn't have to get nervous for her to mess up b/c I couldn't even see her. No bribes to get something from the Hannah Montana store AKA Claires this year, she actually wanted to participate. It was great experience for these little ones to get in front of a large crowd.

Accessorize

This is the girls fourteenth wardrobe change of the day, if only I could have got the swimsuit over the gymnastics leo, now that was trendy. After several fashion shows and makeovers, the girls decided they wanted to be gymnasts. I got a quick lesson in and I think we accomplished a few skills, maybe one. Roe said, yes we want to be gymnasts, so we need to do lots of "extrasizing".

Depressed?

We treated Bailey to a spa treatment today, groom and manicure, and welcomed her home with a new bed Monroe made for her which included my body pillow, a quilt and baby changing cushion. She curled up and went to sleep, of course Im thinking depression, maybe she is exhausted after her spa day. She had postpartum depression really bad after she had her puppies, but soon bounced back, Im hoping she will do the same.

Zeus

11-16-99 - 12-6-08
Zeus, AKA Big Boy, Zeusa Rusa had to be euthanized yesterday after suffering from several seizures. I was 22 when we got him, a mate for our other boxer who is going to need antidepressants. We chose boxers b/c they are great with children even though we didn't have kids yet. The pictures show his toleration and love for kids.

One of my favorite pictures of Zeus and Roe.

This is the most recent picture I took last week with Zeus and BFF Jude.

Its a love story

Me: So anything good happen at school today?
Xander: I can't remember
Me: So anything bad happen at school today?
Xander: Well, you know that girl that likes me, she chased me today at recess.
Me: Well how do you know she likes you?
Xander: She told me under the bridge that she likes me, but if I told the teacher she would punch me in the face.

Well isn't that sweet.

how lovely are your branches?

here is our tree pick for the year, too bad you can't see it, cause Im standing right smack in front of it.

A little preview of my tree topper, I am in love with, JJ put it together for me. It is more like a birthday celebration, than X-mas, but it is a birthday celebration right?

Shatterproof

ornaments? We will find out, my 21 month old has turned out to be a little destructive. Check out my hubby's bottom half hanging up X-mas lights, the flurries didn't stop him.

I turn my back for 3 seconds to find him helping himself to Roe's hot chocolate.
