Stockings & Stuff

Trav got me some Uggs, seriously didn't ask for them but have been wanting some gray boots, he is the best gift giver, I am terrible. I never would have picked them out for myself, I have always thought uggs were way too expensive and frumpy, I slipped them on and fell in love.

We had a gorgeous Christmas, weather wise, Xander got to try out his spark scooter from Santa

the kiddos all got much needed stocking hats

Monroe got an art set and easel from Santa, she has already started some drawings

Kanani in progress here, better than I could ever draw, would love to get this girl in some art classes in all her free time.

legos were the hit for Jude, my personal favorite the santa yoda

Trav got a much needed new bible, his study bible has lost its binding and a bowl full of cotton.

Kingston was all about the regifting, an old new kitchen from Cole, LOVIN IT, nothing beats a man who can cook, gotta start them young.

Snow Joke

the kids aren't the only ones excited about the snow day

Inside out jammies= snow day, that is what the kids believe. We got maybe a quarter inch of snow and schools out, nobody on the streets so we used it for the sledding hill, safe enough.

Dear Santa, we can explain...

We had santa social hour at brunch today, I could have brought this guy home with us. He magically new what each of our children wanted, gave them each small gifts on their list actually and most importantly talked to them about good behavior doing well in school and what he wanted left for him on Christmas eve, love this guy Santa.

Bye bye toe JAM, hello toe GLAM!

Monroe has been blessed with some stinky feet, to the point she says her friends at school make fun of her. We took advantage of being off of any competitions for the next couple weeks and did some home spa pedicures with a little razzle dazzle color on the toenails and fingernails. At santa brunch she was given some really yummy smelling shimmer gel and body lotion. She was pretty excited about the gift and said Im going to put it on my feet every day so they smell good now, and I would not put it past her.

Crazy 8's

Our little girl is growing up and competed in her first level 5 meet this weekend. Unfortunately, she is not grown up quite enough because there were not enough 7 year olds competing so she competed in the 8 year old age group. She had a goal to get 8's on each event and accomplished this pretty easily on floor and beam.

Beam 8.85

Floor 8.75
She was the highest score from her team on these 2 events in her level so we got to go back the next night and watch her compete again which her 3 brothers were so excited about. Another $20.00 to get in and VERY poor viewing with lots of distractions, but gave her some good experience and she loved it, good enough. Gym Plus took 3rd in the team challenge, great job girls!the waiting...
Monroe posing with her big sister Lexi, who offered lots of words of encouragement and was a great cheerleader for the meet.

Toilet Talk

Any ideas if your 1 yr old threw your phone in the toilet?

Oh Christmas Tree!

Let the decorating and undecorating begin. I am so in love with the smell of a real tree walking in the door and still sportin the shatterproof ornaments from Crocker 4 yrs back:)
