2nd Annual Marlatt Sock Hop

Last year King and I missed the sock hop, so we were excited to attend this year, cutest school party idea ever, complete with root beer floats. Thanks to my really amazing over achieving friends who can plan these great parties for our kids, super time. Most importantly heard lots of canned food and money raised while these kiddos, siblings and PARENTS had a great time, going back to the 50's. Wish I had gotten some more pics.

Game Over & Game On

Soccer and football have ended and the Gymnastics competitions will start up.

I struggle with the balance and "hyperparenting" when it comes to kids activities, as long as they love it and want to go, I will let them and keep them active. Monroe is super excited about competing level 5 this year and has been practicing her new routines.

Xander has shown a little more intensity this last flag football season. Guy pictured above deserves much credit, is an AMAZING coach and puts so much effort and investment in these kiddos. Don't think Xander ever got a flag last season and never missed a flag at a game this year, good job Bengals!

Parade of Costumes

Jude sported a Red ranger and Darth Vader
Grayson nerd turned Dorothy, Monroe nerd turned spa girl at night, and Wesley what a perfect tinman!
My handsome ghostbuster, think he needs to look behind him
about half of the kids…
loving the boots
My little yoda man, he was out cruising the neighborhood too, pointing out every "ball" (pumpkin)
After parading around the school in costume, I think we hit every state tonight in the neighborhood with great friends and a whole bunch of kids! You have to take advantage of any Halloween in the 70's.
