I love this boy! At 11 months, he is not even close to walking or weaning, and wears his pajamas most of the day. He loves to point, play the piano and dance (do squats), climb the slide and get stuck at the top, roll around on the bed, find and throw balls and is needing a flobee for his hair wisps. He is saying ball, go, yeah, ball, ball and ball, and LOVES his back tickled and his King bear song. Video footage to follow soon.
I love seeing all of these kids getting excited about exercise and racing, with just a small side of chaos!
Monroe and Claire Marlatters in the middle maybe getting tips from the black shirted dude in charge?
My pics are sucky , Roe was number 5, 2nd girl, my competitive one, finishing the half mile in 3min 22 sec., think she was motivated by her boy classmates following closely behind.
Xander and Cole looking much less serious than the girls previously, lining up for the mile.
Cole rocked it finishing the mile in a little over 7 minutes, tongue out and all!
Xander appears to be struggling but finished strong shaving 2 minutes off his time from last year finishing the mile in 8minutes 50 sec.
We headed to triangle park today for "feet up" trying to beat the world record for how many people could do handstands at the same time for National Gymnastics Day. Around the world everyone went feet up at noontime, did you?
Roe holding strong, Xan in gold to the right in a straddle? Travis was very proud of his handstand, he needs to work on form! hangin with the big team girls
Monroe went on an overnight to KC to celebrate Graysons birthday and I got 3 texts within 30 minutes that mentioned Wes, Roe and Claire had all lost teeth, isn't that something?
My talented friend sewed up some curtains for me from the "bag" part of the bed in the bag to turn these blahh white curtains into something fun & fitting.
I think they turned out perfect! I just used the bag handles to tie the curtains back and the room is starting to come together.
I rolled a few rosettes out of fun fabric and hot glued it to the plain aqua lamp, I hot glued a few of my fingertips as well, not so fun.
this is the only pic I could find of her pink room, she decided in Kindergarten pink was not so much her favorite, only took a few years to change her room color...
We were having such a good day until this little Mr. decided to skid across the street on his face taking off the top layer of his nose and forehead, poor guy… I have never seen such a thing, not a mark on his hand or knees, face only. Next time I will know not to let him look in the mirror.
We scored this school desk leaving church a few weeks ago. It was set out for trash for a bit of a chipped seat, it has been put to use as you can tell, 4th grade homework has been pretty intense:)!
our old kitchen in 2002, with my young husband, think you were 27 maybe!!!??? thought the mauve was a nice touch with the country wallpaper and paint splattered chairs. Our AMAZING neighbors, we can't move, are you kidding me?! The next best thing to a new house, more our budget, renovate the old, with design experts aka (me and Shannon) and handymen, Jake and Jake. Microwave not in yet, but I am still in love, add a little farm sink and it would be true love. Seems to be the case, when I update a little, I get addicted and want to keep updating.
My dream sink, too bad they cost as much as the appliances, will have to wait...
(game faces on)
In attempt to prepare for our half marathon coming up in less than a month my sisters and I conquered 13.1. It was gorgeous and 70's and I felt pretty good during the run, walking is a different story. Im fatigued, hungry and don't see how you crazies can run double this.
like a good neighbor,
Jake came to the rescue, did a little cabinet removal, shaving, microwave removal
and drumroll……… threw in some new tile backsplash, that I will debut tomorrow! (take note of the pee yellow tile from previous post) along with a fridge that now fits.
