After over 10 years in the Labor and Delivery business, Im taking a leave to pursue an opportunity in the pre-op/ pacu area. It is bittersweet, I LOVE pregnancy, labor and childbirth and have so enjoyed having my own and laboring my closest friends and strangers. I have to get out of it so I don't keep wanting more kids, we are at capacity right now, so I have taken on an opportunity in pre-op and pacu that after my first week I am loving and learning a lot so far!

Yeah, I'm with Lindsay... when I see the new little ones I just am thankful it's not me with those long nights coming up. Glad you are liking the new job though!
