Santa Brunch

While we were out...

The dates were changed for Xander's piano mall performance so Trav and I missed his very first!!
Thanks to Mason and ? for videotaping so we could relive the experience. Xander did fabulous for his 4 minutes of fame, I would have been super nervous, i think he was a little too as he quickly turns around after he is finished instead of taking a bow.

VEGAS weekend

(Family pic before concert) Started the trip off seeing Garth at the Wynn, WOW, he was so great, he dressed Vegas style in a blue hooded sweatshirt, ballcap and jeans. He brought out Ms.Yearwood for a couple songs, I seriously wanted to invite them over for dinner, seemed so down to earth and can sing a little bit too! Have to admit a lot of the performance I was rolling watching the Garth lover lady sitting next to Tia dance and sing her heart out, people watching in Vegas deserves its own post.

Kids headed to school today not to learn, but to hit the slopes, the dads seem to readily participate when it comes to sledding.

Wet Nurse?

Have I told you about how working the night shift can be pretty entertaining, I find myself so surprised what come out of my patients mouths and more surprised at myself at times.
So last night,
My Patient: So, do yall have any wet nurses here that could nurse my baby while I sleep?
Me (Smiling): Um, well, I could feed him a bottle while you sleep?

Do people really still do this? I feel like Im a pretty open person, but community nursing kind of freaks me out.

Monroe has learned the first part of her dance routine and says her teacher says she needs to practice practice. We don't have the music yet, so she had Xander play some X-mas music for her, did I mention Im loving my rebel video too!

My sister blogged about tree naming and as much as I am into names, what a great opportunity. We got a really great tree this year the kids love playing hide and seek in the tree lot, I think more so than picking it out. Anyhow, just a few minor set backs, like when it tipped over, our tree stand needs to be replaced, I do believe. After Ms.Henry's help and about 18 magazines she is upright again.
