Splashing good times

I am thinking when Crystal asked a few families to come over for Memorial Day that she wasn't expecting everyone to say yes. So this is what it looks like after, a crap load of kids  in the pool.

Some of my favorite people who happen to have kids that are my kids favorites as well, a win win spending time together:)
:)

Kingston's summer bucket list "Learn to swim"
I am hoping Cico will open soon so we can work on this!

Hopefully getting coached by my Marlin will help

chicken fights, no head injuries thankfully

It is obvious our kids are growing up, bittersweet, proud of the young adults they are becoming.

Schools Out!

Some friends put together a bowling party for the last day of school for the 6th grade grads, a great gathering for this future class of 2022!

along with some of the future class of 2020

I'm surprised we didn't get kicked out and no-one was injured, Shamburg?

Monroe on the last day with the best art teacher ever, Miss Smith, the tears were flowing, thankful we will keep close tabs on this one.

8th Grade Promotion

We are officially the parents of a going to be high schooler, yikes!
Grandpa & Grandma Say were lucky enough to make it to both graduations for our kids in one day!

We were more than blessed with Angie as his math teacher, home room teacher and second mom at school!

A fun surprise, Xander was one of 6 boys who was nominated for the Citizenship Award at AMS, he was cheering for Gabriel who won it! Angie assured us her team doesn't vote for kids because there are too many good ones, proud parents and Aunt:)

6th Grade Transition

My zoom lens didn't work out so well for group pictures but this is a pretty fun little group that spends most recessed playing co-ed volleyball, they are going to miss recess for sure!

sweet friends

not sure how much longer she will ask me to braid her hair so we busted out a pinterest braid wrap for transition, when you have tie dye shirts to wear you have to spice it up a little:)

Monroe got chosen to share her Life Skills Essay, she was so nervous she forgot to eat breakfast and lunch:(, I'm happy she didn't pass out.

a little Lean & Dab by 6th graders to wrap up the transition, you could tell this was their favorite part!

Preschools Out Party!

The neighbors who are also Kingston's best friends had a party for the end of the year, a cute little crew I love to find out who he has been talking about all year long. For being 5, he is quite the social one, always letting me know who is sitting by who at lunch, who broke up and who lied on the playground, we could be in trouble..

he spent most of his time in the mowed maze

We will miss a lot of these friends this summer!
