It seems like Xander always has to be the one up in the crunch situations, like 2 outs, 2 strikes and game over if he doesn't come through...

He kept his streak up and came through for us this weekend as well, I must admit Trav and I were not as confident as he was.

 Xander lost a tooth in the championship game, Travis was proud of the blood on his pants

 Rangers went 7-0 this weekend and played 3 games straight on Sunday to win the championship. In 6 of those games we were down by more than 5 and had to come back, they don't give up, so proud of these boys!!

Weekend at Grandma's

While we headed to KC for a 3 day weekend of baseball, the little two headed to the farm with Grandpa & Grandma. With the blazin hot weather and heat advisories out, it was a great place for them to stay. Think they did get outside a bit, because we heard about some tractor & 4 wheeler rides. The most excitement was calling the fire department when they came across a fire in a nearby pasture. They watched 4 firetrucks pull up and firemen at work, think he will be talkin about this for awhile. I guess we weren't the only ones burnin up.

Beat the Heat

With temps over 100, we were glad to have the weekend off of baseball, difficult to be outside unless water was involved...

 It has been 13 years since we had stampeded VIP style and got to see some great acts with great friends on Saturday night, loved this guy above and below :) An up close Jerrod Niemann singin Xander's favorite Lover Lover.

Prayers for Jeryka

Please lift Coach Jeryka up in your prayers, she has just undergone surgery for a rare and aggressive bladder cancer and will start chemo soon, we love you Jeryka! Not too many people I trust to let Monroe spend 12 hours a week with, no pressure but we need you back soon!!
