16 months and walking, kind of...
My co-workers don't believe me that my 16month old is not yet walking, well he actually took like 3.5 steps the other day and of course I videotaped it. Turn the volume down if you watch, b/c Im a little excited. The kid has a full vocab including baseball game, basketball (his two fav), thank you, hello, peek a boo, dink, banket, but has not been to keen on walking. He also has a pretty amazing pitching arm, this makes daddy o proud.

Blood type diet
I was talking with a friend about how Im not a big meat fan, and could do without and she asked my blood type. A-, I respond. She was not surprised. I do a little research to see that A's are veggie people, am I the last to hear about this blood type diet thing?
Type A Diet
We are actually discussing diet in the more traditional sense, meaning a way to eat," explains, Dr. D'Adamo. Type As flourish on a vegetarian diet - if you are accustomed to eating meat, you will lose weight and have more energy once you eliminate the toxic foods from your diet. Many people find it difficult to move away from the typical meat and potato fare to soy proteins, grains and vegetables. But it is particularly important for sensitive Type As to eat their foods in as natural a state as possible: pure, fresh and organic. "I can't emphasize enough how this critical dietary adjustment can be to the sensitive immune system of Type A. With this diet you can supercharge your immune system and potentially short circuit the development of life threatening diseases."

Say say my playmate
Roe made the cutest picture for Saylor for letting her spend the nite, she used her new pencils and then couldn't resist to add some color. Check salmansscoop for some cute pics of the girls evening. I have such a party girl on my hands, this is all she talks about, what is going on at her party, what everyone needs to wear and what they are going to do. Did I mention this party is in her imagination? To sum her up I've got an independent extrovert who knows what she wants, Im not sure if this is a good thing.

Happy Birthday Kenz!
Happy birthday to my 4th, actually first child, I am not kidding when I say I would adopt you in a heartbeat. I remember the day of your birth very clearly, I was a roomie at the time. Your mom woke me up in the middle of the nite when she was in labor, you were 2 weeks overdue at this point and a few hours later you were born. At 8 pounds, 3oz you were 2 pounds bigger than your bro, and a little rough on your mama. She came home with a catheter bag and had her boob lanced after getting mastitis. Looking back on it after 8yrs of labor experience, never seen either of these things, perhaps that could be why she never got pregnant again, and to this day can't watch anyone breastfeed without cringing. At any rate, it was totally worth it, because you are the best Kenz, thanks for being my kiddos best friend, teacher and babysitter! Happy 11th!

Big bang theory
I've been wanting to cut super short baby bangs, did it, love it, I think I want more. My eyes are bloodshot from working the nightshift that is why you got the top view. Onto another bang, Jude fell out of his crib on to the hardwood floor, time to lower. After a head to toe assessment, I pray he is okay, this may delay the walking more, if not, it could be a great excuse.

Type B
I decided to post a little clippage of the t-ball experience. Shown is Xander playing short stop, or playing around at short stop. He is so type B, doesn't have a care in the world and not the least bit competitive. He has been watching Mason play baseball every summer since he was born and I can see it has really impacted him.

Internet//Blog fasting
We have been without internet for the last week b/c our motem was blown up by the last lightning storm, wish I could say I've gotten so much done like cleaning, reading or cooking this last week without my blogfest. Not so much, I did however deliver the cutest couple from Nepal today. Its funny what a bubble I live in, I have no clue about other cultures, I got a taste today. On more than one level, amniotic fluid seriously shot at my mouth today and thank goodness I have learned to keep my mouth closed. I had to step out for a few and use alcohol wipes and some serious mouth/lip brushing. The beauty of being a labor and delivery nurse.
