Bella Vista VRBO

Our VRBO had a pool that was the size of an extra large hot tub
the kids didn't mind and would swim after the beach which helped with the sand issue
I don't think this is a safe ride King
 Kingston using waterguns as floaties

Our house had a game/media room for Ping Pong, a Schmidt favorite
 kitchen hangout
It was quite a workout to climb the flights to the top, but the view was beautiful!

Food Trucks & more

Since the Say vacations or maybe it is the Lund vacations always revolve around food and the next meal, here we go... Farmers market at seaside with these 2
if you bike for donuts, the calories don't count
Donuts is more like it, thanks to Aunt Angie
crazy lines for this snow shack
 Grilled Cheese Truck
 picture for Grayson

food trucks & bikes, two of my favorite attractions at Seaside

The Party Crowd;)

our group of 19- Says, Jagers, Schmidts & Millers
The houses being put up were quite amazing in the background, supposedly Luke Bryan has a beach house in Seagrove, I wouldn't have been sad to see him at the beach.
like the boogie boards, we wore out the beach volleyball as well
dinner out at seaside, go pick your food truck and meet back here

Adults night out at Red Bar in Grayton Beach, maybe 7 minutes from Seaside, we waited 2 hours, the longest I have ever waited EVER on a waiting list
This is a pretty popular place for only 5 things on the menu, good thing we went because Angie said it was the BEST meal she had ever, part of that could have been the 2 hour wait.

Catching Waves

My kids love boogie boarding, I am pretty sure all of their boogie boards broke/bent at some point during the week.

Our house was a 3 minute walk to the beach, that was even counting crossing 30A highway to get there.

You have to time the wave perfectly to catch it all the way in, then you have to hurry and get up before the next one comes and knocks you back down, speaking from experience.

Beachin it, Seaside 2015

One of the first and favorite pictures I took the afternoon we arrived. We didn't even have our VRBO yet but took advantage of the few hours before to hit the beach.
We stayed in a VRBO about a half mile away from Seaside in Seagrove beach, best decision (thanks Tia). We pretty much had the beach to ourselves and it was more gorgeous and clear than I remember from 2012, no seaweed this time!  Super sad that the Pond fam and my parents were not there but thankful that we had the Jager family join us, love them.

the boys need to get their feet up, hello!

Xander was actually jumping off David's shoulders but it looks like he is kicking him in the head in this picture I think.

Road Trip

Vacation is always bittersweet, it was great while it lasted but went way too fast!
Had to start the picture marathon with this one because it is my favorite, Kingston really isn't this cranky all the time but he can make the best cranky faces!!

We were so thankful to have the ever gracious Nashville Says host us and the Millers for a night, they have an awesome home great for entertaining. I am pretty sure the kids thought they were at an amusement park!

we packed it in in 12 hours for sure!
another grumpy face by Kingston
We got to celebrate Kenzie's 18th birthday as well!!
Happy Birthday Kenz here is your 30.00 beverage!! We left Nashville early Saturday morning for Sandestin and ran into a lot of traffic/construction through Alabama that was brutal.

night out with the selfie stick at Baytowne Wharf, this place reminded me a lot of Downtown Disney.
got off our rears from driving and sat back down to eat
purple pool

This place was super cute but a little too commercialized for me, above us was a zipline, there was a ropes course and several other family friendly activities here.
