Gettin Down with Mama Goose

Jude had his kindergarten performance last night, his class is so cute, I love them. It was a whole 20 minutes of Gettin Down with Mama Goose,  love it, short and sweet, even Kingston made it through.

Mrs.Payne has been a breath of fresh air at Marlatt, as you can see she has a great energy and spirit, love that she makes music so fun for my kids. I am sure I didn't have this experience in elementary, maybe thats why I am not musically inclined:)

Another "OZ"some weekend

 We used up all of our camera battery last weekend, so I get to use my phone pics for this one. One of the always favorite Land of Oz meets was on Saturday, Roe enjoyed being back in Kansas to experience a 1st place again:)

 The awards announcer was the best, super fast, not fast enough for Xander he had a little nap in the back.

Xander's basketball team is struggling, only 1 win so far and of course was the game we missed! Notice the bright red ears, he is working hard.

Prayers

Please pray for Jeryka as the MRI of her brain this week showed 2 spots that are concerning. She will be heading back to MD Anderson soon to see the brain experts for advice and treatment. We need her healed and on the wedding planning, we will love and  carry you through this Jeryka!

My Sweet Valentine

My little man was so excited about taking his whistles and bubbles to school today, so thankful to have boys that are such little lovers in my life. 

Chicago Style

 Our weekend trip to Chicago was so awesome, little Miss attitude did great earning medals and scoring above 9's on floor, beam, bars & all around.

 Monroe outside our hotel with Lexi & Kylie, we hopped on a short ride to Navy Pier for the World's largest gymnastics meet.

 the ride on the metra was quite entertaining with our crew, lots of people watching, truthfully, I think most were watching us...

Boys

 slight flight delay on the way home, besides the 1 hr delay, the Manhattan to Chicago flight was so convenient!

 Xander and Cole took advantage of the free massages at the meet, they did work hard;)

 my only complaint was the awards took FOREVER, what else would I expect from the largest meet?

 We did lots of walking, shopping and eating of course

 We loved watching Kylie and Lexi, our level 8's on Sunday, they did awesome!

 Cole was in charge of the scorebook, he gave himself perfect 10's on all events

 did I mention it was the longest national anthem too, I think we heard several anthems.

Omaha Premier Bowl

catching up on meet happenings.. We headed to Omaha last weekend for another stop on our meet marathon

I was a little unsure about Monroe competing by herself this time, they divided the sessions into age groups, I think she actually enjoyed the individual attention from Jeryka & Amelia, and didn't seem to mind being by her lonesome

 had to post this picture, because it is such a Kenzie picture, WOW!

 she was the very last gymnast to go on beam and ended up getting 1st place on the event, good comeback from the fall last week

Ended with doing well overall 2nd out of 18, 2nd on floor and 2nd on vault, Chicago is next!

HUBBY is 38!

 No surprise parties for him, but we got to celebrate Trav's birthday helping in church, (had to get a pic of him holding the blessing box)

 nothing beats a little crazy Sunday lunch at Chipotle

Glad he chose Chipotle over his 6th birthday choice of McDonalds, Jenny J and Randy are the only other ones I recognize in the photo.

Love that I get to  am growing old with this guy, a grown up kid,  happy birthday babe!
