cut
Poor Strudel didn't make the cut for the x-mas/thanksgiving card/ baby announcement this year, it was either him or only the hubby's butt in the family pic.
Thought this one was pretty sweet too, again think we may have some booty in the background.

Toast to the King
My parents journeyed to Manhattan to meet Kingston for the first time but broke down halfway. Not much open for rental cars or anyone who wants to fix your car on Thanksgiving so Eddie (bro n law) hopped in the car and drove 250 miles to pick them up. Meanwhile Angie slaved over the turkey and we made some sides that were old family, or mostly google recipes. Would have taken more pics but we were too busy laughing over our concoctions. Meanwhile Trav and kiddos stayed busy with the wii karaoke and wii dance. Thanks Kenz for documenting the few pictures we do have! I was laughing at Kingstons first picture with his grandparents, they told us they drank wine to stay warm while they were waiting outside in the freezing cold until Eddie rescued them, haven't stopped drinking wine since:)

A lot to be thankful for (6 yr old perspective)
Monroe has had a break from Gymnastics for Thanksgiving week and has spending much of her time writing and painting. I told the kids they should write down some things they are thankful for, (taking a break from Disney channel), Xander got distracted and Monroe came back with a paperful of what she was thankful for.

Sock Hoppers
The kiddos and hubby attended the first annual Marlatt Sock Hop Friday night, they were super excited coming home showing me the macarena, chicken dance and hokey pokey. Only complaint was Xander's sore neck this morning from limboing lower now, I love having such involved parents and friends at school, THANKS SHANNON!!
