these girlies did so amazing at their first meet, they had a super time.

Monroe showing off 2 second place, 2 third place medals and a trophy for 3rd all around (in her age group) with her proud papa. This was a perfect first meet for her, confidence booster, am afraid it wlll only get more competitive from here.

Chores

This little getting to be big boy is such a great fit in our family, he doesn't care what we're doing; laundry, dishes, sleeping, as long as he is right in the middle of it all he is perfectly content.

Flower Power

for the upcoming science fair the girls attempted to turn white daisies and carnations into different colors using food coloring...

Adventures on Ice

Zekas invited us ice skating and it was quite the adventure, my kids have never been rollerskating or iceskating EVER and I haven't been for 20 yrs, lets just say we spent a lot of the time on our butts, but it was really fun, my kids went to bed really easily last night and they are asking to go back today. For the locals, free skate tomorrow!!

Playing Hookie

I got to celebrate my double 3's with this chica who decided when we got into her class this morning that she couldn't stay, she was crying so therefore I was crying, so we went home. She said, "I don't want to miss your birthday mom". So we went to the library checked out books that she read several times each. My intention was that she wasn't supposed to like this homeschooling attempt, but she really did love it. What happend to my little social girl that wanted to be away from home all the time, one bully in her class is what happend, so she says. She decided to go to school after lunch b/c otherwise she was not going to get to go to gymnastics, but Im having major guilt about this all day kindergarten, HELP!!

Snow King

just b/c he loves his picture taken, he is getting pretty good at taking the dog out to potty too, maybe he will start pottying out there too.

American Girl Dog

this little doodle boy is so tolerant of my kids and the dress up, wish i was as tolerant with taking him out to potty every 5 minutes, he gets so distracted and starts hopping up and down in the snow, FOCUS! I feel like he is one of my kids and husband at times too:)

Monroe's comment was, "just what we need another boy in the family", he didn't seem to mind being dressed in pink feathers and animal print.

the goldendoodle is the newest member of our family. He is 9 weeks old and it was love at first sight. His mom is a red golden retriever and dad is a white standard poodle. I was attracted to the breed b/c they are supposed to be loving, gentle, intellegent and not shed much, we shall see.

Monroe has her first gymnastics meet in 3 weeks and is just a titch excited, she loves for me to judge her. This is a little clip of her floor routine in the basement without music, just some boy noise in the background.
