Oh Christmas Tree

Off to find the perfect tree.

This guy helping us was so cute and nice I had to get a photo, I think he thought I was a little weird.

My hubby, who used to be a fakey, is such a good sport, I think secretly he kind of likes the real thing too.

We braved the chilly weather and picked out our X-mas tree, the kids were thrilled to say the least. I think we are the only ones that get a real tree, besides my sisters and parents. It is such a pain in the rear and I love every second of it. My favorite is smelling the pine, this year a frasier fur. To be continued..

Snowmen & stockings

We have had fun this week with X-mas crafts, paper plate snowmen and stockings. I have quite the decoraters, I love to watch what they come up with. The first thing to go on Roe's snowman was eyebrows, interesting choice.

Pulling up & Proud

So my little guy has been pulling up on everything, he looks so proud and excited. The getting down part is not so graceful. Especially with his metal crib, the falls are tough.

Introducing Brodie!

I spent Friday laboring my dear friend Kristin who was of course a model patient, we shared lots of laughs and tears. Chase is a proud big brother to Mr.Brodie who was born a whoppin 8#4oz and 21 1/2 in.

Jude's rockin nursery

I love home projects, especially when they turn out. With the great help of our kids and mostly my hubby, Jude finally has a nursery (8 months later). Im not sure how much sleep he will get, its a little bright,but I love color. After getting some opinions, no one thought I should paint every wall a different color, but sometimes that just tempts me to do it more. I went for it, or the team did, and it is ROCKIN!

Thanksgiving feast

So we were invited to the preschool feast today and as I wandered from table to table looking to find Roe's name, I anticipated what she would be thankful for. Princesses, dresses, food? I was pleasantly surprised to find she was thankful for God. As a mom, I feel like I want so much for my kids. Actually just two things, I want them to be happy and follow God. Having a wild girl, I really worry about this.

Gator weather

The weather has been fabulous great for riding the Gator, Roe has been in to posing lately as well.

That isn't Santa, just a wannabe getting the leaves out of our gutters, good job Trav!

Sexy man pose

I was admiring one of Jude's friends in our church nursery on Sunday b/c he would balance up on his side, it was too cute! Benson's mom said, we call it the "sexy man pose" b/c he usually does it when he is naked. Jude has totally copied Benson and does this all the time now, I love it!

Miss Makenzie

I have the best niece who also loves to play school with the kids, this is Mrs.Makenzie during a little music lesson.

Musical Beds

It is seriously musical beds at our house every nite. We all hop from bed to bed, it starts like this. Trav falls asleep reading to Xander or Roe, Xander will have a nightmare (last nite Jude's nose fell off), TERRIBLE (Xander's words of choice). Roe needs a drink and then of course little Jude decides he needs a snack. As long as I get at least 8h, I don't care where or who I am sleeping with, that probably doesn't sound very good.
