Golden Girl

As if ice skating and a sleepover on Friday, followed by classy catting and a bar outing Saturday, wasn't enough we loaded up at 5am (me, Monroe and the King) and headed to KC for an early gymnastics meet. This little girl must not have been too spent b/c she ended up getting first all around out of 5 in her age group. She was so tickled she would not stop giggling at the bobble head trophy girl gymnast she was rewarded, even the dude who gave it to her was cracking up, kind of funny.

Classy lil Cats

So the consensus from the weekend is that I pretty much suck at videotaping so this is a pretty pathetic effort at recording a pretty cute performance. I thought it was cute considering they had 1.5hrs to learn and practice for he half-time performance at the girls B-ball game. Roe is back row with stripe tall socks next to Grayson and Claire.

Daddys Hands

I looked up at the dance clinic from below and loved this sight of dads in babeland! We've got Jake and Beckham, back to Josh and Stella, over to Mark and Taizley, to Jason and Elle (back row all holding their 3rd girls by the way:) down to Trav and King, LOVE IT!

3 months

My little Kingston, you still have yet to see your crib and have made yourself a nice little spooner next to your mom every night, (or dad if mom works).
You have quite the personality already and
squeal with delight and
smile with your eyes and
your little arms and legs go ninety miles an hour when you hit the bath tub and
your siblings are as in love with you as your parents!!

Spoodle?

We took Strudel to be groomed a few days ago and came back with this puff ball. Trav told the kids it was Strudels sister we exchanged him for. Poor thing, he looks like a girl with his dredlocks brushed out, at least he can see now and smells good. Maybe he will start listening?

Double Trouble

I can't imagine these two in preschool together let alone middle school or high school! They are actually quite comical to watch in action and can have productive play dates now. At 3 1/2 yrs, we knocked out the tractor puzzle a few times, a game of go fish and zhu zhu pets!

Now Recruiting….

So in just a few days, I am gaining 1 more sister and family back to town, just need Jess and her Pond clan and my parents to catch on and move here! What does Chicago and Utah have to offer that Kansas does not, ha!
If you know of any chemical engineering jobs or disaster cleanup jobs available, let me know!

Bowlin the New Year

Gamers

It wouldn't be Christmas without lots of game playing going on, kids and adults. Some were made up games, of course.

We had a taste test this year, Walmart brand vs Name brand to see if peeps/kids could tell a difference. My kids unfortunately played very well and preferred the real fruit loops, real ice cream, real pop tarts, real doritos over the off brands, expensive taste just like their mama!

Between the itouch, iphone, ds and leapsters, the kids stayed entertained and actually did well with many dinners out. Lovely thing about Utah, you take 14 kids out and you fit right in:)

We also played then me, now me, where we drew old pictures out of a bag and you had to get in that exact pose and take a picture. (now me, pictured above)

this was a little more tricky when babies were involved, because a lil difficult to carry the grown up form
